Here are some members’ poems as examples of what we do. We hope you enjoy them.
Daphne Gloag has had many poems published in magazines. Her prizes include first
prize in a Poetry on the Lake competition (the Silver Wyvern award) and in a Scintilla
short poem competition for ‘The Radio Clock’. Her second collection, A Compression
of Distances, comprises shorter poems and a long sequence with a cosmological setting.
It was published in the autumn 0f 2009 by Cinnamon Press (www.cinnamonpress.com)
and has been well received.
Angela Aratoon was highly commended in the Ealing Arts
Poetry Competition 2009 and
Alan Chambers’ publications include Ordered Lines and Present Position.
